Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Progresso handles your information. The short version: we collect virtually nothing, and your data stays yours.

1. Information We Collect

Progresso is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or process your personal data on any external servers. Specifically:

• No account required: You do not need to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personal information to use Progresso.
• No analytics or tracking: We do not use any third-party analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. There are no cookies, no fingerprinting, and no usage tracking.
• No data collection: We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.

2. Your Data Storage

All data you create in Progresso — including projects, sessions, notes, reminders, and milestones — is stored in two places:

• Locally on your device: Your data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework directly on your iPhone or Apple Watch.
• Your personal iCloud account: If you have iCloud enabled, your data is synced across your devices via Apple CloudKit. This sync happens entirely within Apple's infrastructure using your personal iCloud account. We have no access to your iCloud data.

We do not operate servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure of our own. Your data never passes through our systems.

3. Subscription and Purchase Data

Progresso Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit framework. When you subscribe:

• Payment is handled by Apple, not by us
• We do not receive or store your payment information, credit card details, or billing address
• We receive only a transaction receipt from Apple to verify your subscription status on your device
• Subscription management (cancellation, renewal, refunds) is handled through your Apple ID account settings

4. Third-Party Services

Progresso uses the following Apple platform services:

• Apple CloudKit: For syncing your data across your devices via your iCloud account. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Apple StoreKit: For processing in-app purchases and subscriptions. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Apple WidgetKit: For providing home screen widgets and lock screen Live Activities. All data stays on your device.

We do not integrate any third-party services beyond Apple's platform frameworks. There are no social media SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, or external analytics services.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with anyone. Since we do not collect your data, there is nothing to share. Your content remains entirely under your control within your device and your personal iCloud account.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since your data is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud account:

• You can delete any project, session, note, or reminder directly within the app at any time
• Uninstalling Progresso removes all locally stored data from that device
• To remove data from iCloud, you can delete it within the app (it will sync the deletion) or manage your iCloud storage through your Apple device settings
• We have no ability to access or delete your data since it is not stored on our systems

7. Children's Privacy

Progresso does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the app does not collect personal data from any user, there is no age-specific data collection concern. The app is suitable for users of all ages.

8. Security

Your data is protected by the security measures built into Apple's iOS, iCloud, and CloudKit infrastructure, including encryption in transit and at rest. Since we do not store your data on our own servers, the security of your data is maintained by Apple's industry-leading security practices and your own device security settings (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Since Progresso stores all data locally and in your personal iCloud account, you already have full and direct control over your data at all times without needing to contact us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of Progresso after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
